Can ICE interview students on school campus? What do the courts say about school enrollment for immigrant children? What are the legal implications for responding to racially motivated bullying? In this session participants will learn about how recent changes in federal policy are impacting immigrant students, as well as the legal ramifications for school personnel.
April Albers has served as a classroom teacher and instructional coach before becoming an administrator. She is currently principal for the K-5 grades of ¡Todos Unidos!, OCSD's Dual Language program.
